Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight

    Hi,

just upgraded to a new machine and have my old em4800.

Now I realise this is an old entry level machine, but I was always able to get a good cup out of it. The thing is are these things worth anything now - or is it a boat anchor?

Should I sell it or toss it?

    ta

If you can get anything for it, then great. If not, then toss it.

Out of curiosity what machine are you now using?

eBay, for whatever, plus the postage...
it really depends on your write-up of the machine in your promo...
we sold our 3 Y/O"Gran Gaggia" (which is one of the smallest Gaggias ever made) for around $25, and the buyer was very happy with it, as he wanted to try out "coffee making" before he went on to bigger and better things.
    good luck!

    Hi cowabunga,

I may buy your old machine. Just wondering how old it is and whether it has any mechanical problems...

    cheers

It is in good working order, about 3-4 years old.

I got a super automatic saeco for the wife.

Not looking for much money - just hate throwing away stuff that is still useful.

sorry, I already got brand new Breville Ikon. It was a pretty good deal, too big temptation.
But sure you can find a buyer on eBay...

    all the best
