    Briel Chamonix ES35 Espresso Machine

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Ive just bought this second-hand machine ("about 5 years old") from the place that cant be named.
I bought as a cheap project.
Im wondering if anyone knows anything about these?

I havent received it yet, but I know its made in Portugal.
I visited their website and asked if there was a Briel service agent in Sydney.
Im told the filter baskets have a 55mm inside diameter, a 1200W boiler (SS?), AquaStop®™ anti-drip system, and
some kind of turbo frother :-?
Its missing the one cup filter basket.
I dont now if the baskets a pressurised or non-pressurised (Im expecting the later).
Does the machine share similiar//same parts with other machine.

I think Ive seen references to Solis filter baskets?

Yep, the PF certainly looks like my Solis PF. The nemox baskets should fit in them I think, if I can remember right. Im also pretty sure that the presso naked pf is the same size too.

Hi Phil , the Briel might have the same internals as one I bought a while back , stainless steel boiler ! and 55mm baskets like smaller Spidem machines , and my orphan Euromax (not the Eb*y eurolab) machine.
Good basis for a PID conversion !
