Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi All
on the newly installed Due I noticed the two stage power- 1 and 2. Whats the deal? Is the 1 setting to leave on at night, almost a standby?
    Any help appreciated
    Brett

Im not familiar with your particular model but on most commercial machines the power switch is a 3-position one. Off, water fill, heat/full function.

Re: re Faema Due, power settings question

Mate - welcome to the Due Club :)

It is a 2 position switch on these. *Position 1 is fill position (not manual fill but auto if it needs to). *Position 2 is element on. *Fully manual fill is that button on the front (you can see when you lift the drip tray that the button activates a tap in the plumbing). *I normally check the site glass when cold and if full switch straight to pos 2. *Even if down a very slight amount it will auto fill within a second or two when switched to pos 2 for the first time - if you want to be very prudent just go 1 first.

    Cheers

Hi ozscott- it is in the other post, but always willing to show off a new toy- manufactured 12/07, in cafe Brisbane for about 6mths and then repossessed. Was unbelievably filthy when arrived. Just finished group detergent rinse- took three goes (new load of detergent until exhausted, keep repeating) each side and still not quite there. Thats the only down side- filter screen doesnt unscrew and the group seals are too new to pull apart, disassemble and soak.
    Beautiful machine

Mate - looks lovely! Well done. It will make absolutely beautiful coffee. I posted some tweaks in my FAEMA Due Value thread for pressurestat settings etc if it need to be toned down if that helps.

    Cheers
