    Welcome to CoffeeSnobs Jamocha!

Nice toy you have there. There have been a few threads on Boema reco jobs here so have a bit of a search around to see what you can find.

I would expect a big pile of scale in the boiler and similar dirty pipe-work. The best bet is that if you are feeling handy that you pull it to bits and give everything a clean. If your not feeling at all handy the get a pro espresso machine tech to give it a service.

    ...and a pile of others!

Its a good machine, Aussie made, good part availability and really great value for money.

    Thanks Andy,
The links you gave are great. I have repaired several rusty 4 wheeled things in my past so rust and scale stuff will be dealt with in the manner you describe.
I have emailed the auctioneer on this question but you may know the answer.
There are two flexible tubes: one is braided (pressure supply) , and one is plain (drain).
Does an external pump connect to the steel braided hose?

    Here is another hose image.

Is this model fitted with an internal pump?

Yes, they have an internal pump.

There are 2 screws that you can undo to take the top cover of the machine off. Prob wont hurt to lift the lid and take a peek in. :o

That braided ss hose attaches to your main water supply.

    Hi,

You might want to also look at buying a in-filter on the braided hose (cost ~ $50-90) for when you go to hook it up.

    Cheers,

    Jeff

Auction Ended at price $550 plus Pickup Costs which Exceeds my current budget. [smiley=sad.gif] It looked attractive at the price a couple of days ago.

Thanks CSers for all your generous help given. I am wiser for it.

Even got the kitchen chiefs approval for location in our kitchen. Put it in place of the microwave and locate the microwave above on an addition shelf.
