    New gear from Ambient Espresso

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Teaser...

Two innovative machines (1 prosumer, 1 prosumer/commercial) are coming but I'm sworn to secrecy until they're launched at HOST (Friday our time)...

    More to come!

    Hmmmmm..... Theoretically, yes.

Are we ever cured? Is it even curable?

Even if we have one of everything? ;-D

You'll see 'em here first guys and we'll be posting close to the beginning of HOST 2015. Big excitement.

Also- a name change: 3 years after Ambient&spresso and Elcor joined forces, a new company has been formed to concentrate solely on the espresso side of things..

The new company is known as Advanced Coffee Solution and will produce:
    • Vesuvius
    • Ventus
    • Colosseum (Yes- 1 exists in South Korea)
    • Mystery commercial machine #1
    • Really interesting new prosumer machine #2

More info as soon as I'm allowed to release the cats...

I wonder if one of these will make me reconsider my decision to buy a profitec 700.

Exciting. I cant wait for more pictures, details, and initial reviews!

As yet unnamed (I think) dual boiler rotary pump PID prosumer machine. I guess it would compete with R58/Alex Duetto/VBM 2B et al..
    image2.JPG

Vostok commercial lever. This one is ground breaking: Rapid heat up and PID controlled shot temperature independent to each group. Independent control of steam boiler temp. Control of preinfusion pressure as well... I think I can figure out how they've achieved this but the variable preinfusion currently has me stumped... I understand that patents are pending on this one. Keep in mind that they're early graphics- so I'd guess the concept will be refined in terms of handles, grates etc...

    Also unrelated (sorta)

Rocket R60V- pressure profiling e-61 (think $6k+). I have created a thread for discussion on it here

    Rocket commercial saturated group...
    Something cool commercial from VBM

Sweet looking machines and sound well spec'd. Funny to see both releasing machines pretty much target at each others existing models....

    The lever looks remarkable.

Is it just me or do all of ACS's machines qualify as Cylon devices?

Any idea when these machines will come to market??
Will the DB prosumer machine also have the "pressure profiling" like the versuvius?

It's certainly nice to see the spring levers evolving although the location of the touch screen controls seems an odd choice. Directly behind the drip tray between a group & hot water spout?? There's bound to be lots of water splashed onto that area.

1 group looks to be around A$9000!
