Nah, I don't know what it is either. Saw it on FB.

No wait, I found it. It's a La Marzocco La Curva

I know. Not on my reading list although I admit to drinking fine tea and enjoying the occasional affogato

Yes- they had it on display at HOST.

For mine, the term dogs balls comes to mind. Perhaps it will be better in the metal, but at present, I'm seeing the whole chook, not the feather...

I worry about the ergonomics of it. Surely the traditional style levers is more natural a position for the wrist with a bent elbow?

IF it is a similar design to the Dalla Corte, the handle merely operates as a digital micro-switch to control the pressure profiling... no heavy duty spring to worry about so not much to worry about when it comes to ergonomics

With those gauges, reckon it's digital? Could be. I don't see any electronics externally, but might have a control panel somewhere.

I bet their design guy was down at the shops doing some early toy shopping for Christmas and whilst in the toy cars aisle, saw this:

His first thought was "My small 4 year old son will definitely appreciate this for Christmas!" shortly followed by "Do you know, a Green Lantern themed coffee machine is exactly what this world needs!"

Nice one! Hope you enjoy the machine AND treat us to photos when it arrives.

Any idea when it will land? Have you a great grinder to complete the coffee making ?

I think it just looks ugly. No suave style, just gaudy and overdone. With a high price to match probably.
