Looking for a suitable 2 group machine for a mobile coffee business. Needs to be 15 amp. Any ideas on brand. Was keen on Wega Polaris but is 20amp so no go. Thanks

    Hey Mate,

Look for a two group compact machine as they will generally be 15 Amp. Rancilio machines have something called reduced power where it will reduce the power output of a 15amp machine to 10amp, 20amp to 15amp and 32 to 25amp.

Bare in mind with running a smaller machine you have a smaller boiler 5L so your not going to have quick steam recovery however it will be quicker to reach operating temp due to the smaller boiler size. While a traditional 2 group machine will have an 11L boiler so will take longer to heat up when running in reduced power and while initially will have more steam it will also take longer for the steam to recover if your making a lot of milk based coffee.

    Hope that makes sense.

I think this fits the bill:

10 litre boiler, 15Amp is standard (able to be reduced to 10Amp), compact dimensions (58x45x49 cm), calibrated groups for no cooling flush operation. Currently using one as our staff machine
