Pesado 23.5 naked on a Profitec 700
Just wondering how much coffee others are dosing in the 23.5 basket?
Are people dosing 18g or 20g.
With either of those, the coffee sits really low in the basket and I have really inconsistent results with my naked pf.
Lots of shooting leaks (guessing that's an indication of channeling right?
Should I try tamp harder? I use the ezytamp, which is supposed to be constant?
My workflow is almost identical to yours except I grind into a transfer cup and then weigh.
I also catch myself tapping the pf with the tamp sometimes. But even if I'm diligent enough.
2 things I notice, 1 is the sprouts from the naked the other is the puck is not "compact" at the end. Almost like there there is not enough coffee in the basket.

When you use 20g do you get a solid puck?
Increased to 24g and adjusted the Grind(courser) and puck is perfect. Taste not as good though.
Currently trying with 94deg.
Any chance you can take a photo of the puck and the top of the puck after pulling the shot? Do you have the same machine?
I have a pro 500 and use 21g in a 20 Pesado basket. These baskets are 58.5mm diameter. are you using a 58.5 tamp. Just a suggestion.
