    Flushing an UNO E

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi.
Not sure if this is the right price range for an UNO E but have just acquired one after a thermoblock. I ran that on filtered de-ionised rain water and never had to flush with cleaner. I am running the UNO on same water and not sure if it needs blind flushing, which part of the pipework it actually flushes and how often it should be done. Any suggestions appreciated.

Also any suggestions on procedure to obtain best results from idle (bleed the cold then hot water supplied to group, etc.)

    Thanks.

    Hi Steve and welcome

Maybe you could contact one of the people who posted in the following thread (pm or email) and they may be able to help, if its a similar machine?

    Welcome to the forum Steveedmonds.

Not familiar with your machine, unfortunately. "Uno" tends to be a fairly generic term for models, meaning "one" as in one-group, rather than a brand.

If it has a three-way valve, it should probably be backflushed with a blind filter. With its own water. And with a chemical cleaner every fortnight or so.

Perhaps you could post a picture.

Sorry robusto, left off the obvious, the brand. Carimali Uno E.

Steve, the original post I made also refers to Carimali machines.
