    La Scala Carmen A2

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Can anyone tell me anything about the La Scala Carmen A2, I just bought one off that other place, it is a great looking machine E61 groups, piston infusion, volumetric, guages, the lot. I guess what I want to know is if anyone has any inside experience with them... Ray. :-?

No reason why it wouldnt be a good machine Ray, with all the usual provisos.... Doesnt appear to be supported much here in Oz though so I guess you need to make sure you have ready access to a local support channel, if one exists....

Some stale (still sealed in bags) coffee beans came with it, of course they gushed and tasted terrible, I put some png peaberry through it today, man oh man Im in love but dont tell me missus she already struggles with my love affair with my bike, I dont think she will handle any more competition especially from a coffee machine of all things. This thing absolutely rocks, I have a naked porta filter so the visual also rocks.........
When I find my card reader or hot wire Ill take some picks and upload them.

    Nice Ray!

But how many groups does it have!? I had a laugh! :D

The portafillas seem to outweigh the groups there...;)

Scoota its logic really, in fact they are only the necessities...

    two groups.... so two doubles
one naked because everyone has to have one
    one single
    and a blind for flushing

See, all quite necessary........... ::) Ray.

    Re: La Scala Carmen A2

Carmen is still doing extremely well at home, she runs quite a bit of the time these days, somehow i have ended up with a whole lot more aquantances, one would assume that awesome coffee is very popular with the general public not to mention the female variety which can be quite nice for single christian bloke like me. It really is quite extraordinary and sarisfying to see the looks on peoples faces when their taste buds are tantalised with a great yirg, blue horse, mandheling, monsoon peaberry / malabar or my favourite "Kenya AA" when i can get it, (hint hint)..... anyway God is good all the time.......

    Ray.
