    Hi frothers
My Carimali Unos pressure relief valve is weeping and I need it tested/re-calibrated/replaced. Who in NZ (or could send it to Oz I suppose) can do this.

I had mine replaced from parts I bought from Espresso Engineers last year sometime.. unfortunately they didnt have any with a similar thread diameter, but about 4 fittings later (including one from the original) they managed to assemble something that would work.

Unfortunately the fittings add extra cost, so dont expect a cheap replacement. And after all that the thing was about twice the length of the original and JUSTTTTT fits. With any luck they might have some different valves in now, but its pretty unlikely.. theyre definitely more of a we will fix your $2500 E61 machine than a sell you parts to fix your obsolete espresso machine sorta outfit.

A better option might be to measure the thread diameter and try find a compatible valve for another machine on coffeeparts.com.au, or you could try Freshfood Ltd (Robert Timms - Carimali dealer for NZ) and see if you could source one from them, theyre definitely a lot more pleasant to deal with than Espresso Engineers.
