With 3 different bench top espresso machines on the go at the moment all in different stages of repair/modding/testing I haven't really made any use of my multiple stove top units lately, including at work which is usually the sole domain of a stove top. But I found myself with no fresh beans this morning, just some 'Cafe Direct' (read CCA) beans from work's auto machine that don't go through the Classic currently in use very well. So I thought I'd give the Bellman a run for the the first time in quite a while as the freshness of beans tends to matter less seeing that your only getting 'pseudo-espresso' from it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised with the result. I'd have to say I nailed it, tasted pretty damn good too.
