Office Coffee Recommendations - Filter Machines

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi all,

I'm looking for a coffee solution for our office. Unfortunately, an espresso machine is not really viable. Need something quick, easy, and no mess (and big enough to feed at least five or six). Not favouring a pod machine, as would quite like something a little different.

Currently looking at the MochaMaster Classic - but have no experience with this or any other unit.

Would love any recommendations, or if you think I'm barking up the wrong tree.

    Thanks!

There is only one mate, and you can grab it right here...
CoffeeSnobs - BeanBay - Other Stuff - Behmor Brazen Plus - Coffee Brewer

Andy gifted one to me some time ago and not only is it extremely easy to use and maintain but the coffee produced from it using high quality freshly ground beans is second to none.

And that's exactly the sort of information I was after!

    Thanks - Mal.

The Behmor Brazen has a few features that put it a notch above the Moccamaster. Just make sure you do a little practice to get your grind, dose and ratio correct as you need to make sure the ground coffee bed depth is within a certain range to get a good brew. Itís not as technical as it sounds and Iím sure itíll be clear as day once youíve got the machine in action. Phillips do a pretty good one as well, but Iím not sure of the model name sorry.

We use the Brazen for daily brewing at the office for those same desirables youíve mentioned. Quick. Straight forward consistent brewing. Easy clean up. Relatively no mess and it brews six strong cups.

One of the other guys at work liked it so much he got one for home too I believe.

One of us makes up a batch and lets others know itís ready and they can simply pour in their own amount of coffee and hot water or coffee to milk ratio to get the strength they want.

    Great brewer for the price.

Thereís a Breville milk cafe (BMF600) there for staff for those who want that to warm milk to set temp. Or the microwave works too.

An alternative brewer would be Breville Precision Brewer. Like the Behmor Brazen it is SCA approved/recommended home brewer. Iíve seen one Melbourne roaster selling it.
