    Hi CropDuster

The settings I use (and unashamedly ripped off from one of either ThunderGod or AngerManagements posts ;) ) is:-

    Expresso Thermoblock Temperature: + 4
    Steam Thermoblock Temperature: + 10
    Steam Pump Rate: - 0.2

Ive written them down in the back Advanced Programming Options area of the Instruction Book so that if I have to factory reset the machine, Ive got them handy and in the right area Im reading through.

    Cheers

Just remember there were our settings and to suit the method and beans we were using...

I have on occasion changed teh head temp and tend to play with the steam a bit more..

Inputs that I find make me consider a change...

    1: Beans
    2: Type of Milk
3: My slack methods and trying to do things differently.

Mine are a bit different -

    Head Temp +2
    Steam Temp +10
    Steam Time -.1

For me, I found -.2 a little too wet, but each to their own.

I fiddled with the settings a number of times, but settled on factory defaults. They seem to work fine for me.

I would be interested in what kind of improvements you are observing when you change the various settings.

Hey I used the settings as described above. They sounded fimiliar to what i had originally read somwhere, using Coles milk, and locally roasted beans from Neli Coffee here in Redcliffe, all is good , producing superior than most local places.

So I am happy Wifey is happy with her hot chocolate Tobbler is happy with babycino....

Happy families and great coffee what else is there?
