    6910 group handle

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
My HX is being serviced and have been using my sons Sunbeam 6910, the group handle keeps unlocking when pulling a shot.
He has a new seal and just replaced the collar so I wondered if the lugs on the group handle wear down and thus cause this problem??
Any info from all of you Sunbeam owners would be appreciated!! :-/

In teh first instance.. Ya may be updosing toooo much and or not locking in far enough..

Not yet to see lugs on the group handle wear down, and if they did; that would allow you to lock in further..

That is why I ground all my lugs down to make more of a slide .... Just like all other commercial systems... It does wonders for reducing the wear...

    Hi greenman,

Mine use to do that too and still sometimes does. You need to lock it about 5:30 or 5:00 position. what position are you locking it at the moment?

Same here; its the track in the group head that wears.

Are you locking in at least to where the arrow shows on the group head?
