    People,
Im having real difficulty in getting this gaggia part DM1645/001 it looks like this http://www.dibartoli.com.au/product_details.asp?pid=344
Would anyone have a spare or a second hand one lying around.
I need one for a Baby Twin, but it is the same as Classic as far as I know.
    Thanks.

Gaggia Australia (Shriro) are having some issues at the moment! I think new stock is hard to get!
    Thanks KK

On the weekend at the Brisbane meet up, our host Anger Management (AM) had a few parts on display from the Gaggia so you could PM him - it may be a long shot but worth a try

Shriro does not handle Gaggia any more. Saeco took over the distribution of Gaggia in Australia and like any new business they are trying there best to get the right spare parts.

They are many parts that I am waiting for. may be the best way is to call other repair center of Gaggia they may have this part in stock

Hi Ralph , if its a problem with a faulty coil (common) , and not a leaking 3 way valve ,other coils can be substituted - what model of coil is fitted ?
    regards,
    pip.

Agree.. Slug can stick / jam with crap and or the Coil goes open..

Coils are available from many places... Jacar / RS / Farnell etc.

This is not deemed a User replacement part like a group seal.

Note: Any work to electrical parts must be done by a person that has approval to perform electrical repairs.

    Thanks guys,
the solenoid coil is fine but the stem under the coil is cracked and thus leaking. Its a C.E.M.E coil.
Im an electronics tech with Restricted Electrical licence, but thanks for the safety warning.
Saeco/Gaggia repair agent is Flexible Technologies in Brisbane and they have been a little difficult to work with. (not helpfull when I dropped in with the item but without a part no. and not returning a phone message with the part no.)
    Very frustrating.

Being a QLD person... Ya get enough of the ESO stuff every day :-)

When did ya last renew.. Man some strange stuff and none technical *:D

Check ya PM... Some time agi I picked up a Gaggis for spares.. *Been sitting for ages.. May or may have dumped some bits..

Use the Boiler and group head as a test load *;D

Check ya PM... Life may be kind to you yet *;)

Love this pay it forward stuff.. *And If we have another tec... Even better.. *Some one who can actually add further rigour, while Mal has the final SAY *;)

Had a look... May be lucky if we go though some stuff... Was short a special sized brass bit for my compressor... Do remember cutting up what I then thought was Appliance stuff ;D

If Ya can find what ya need to get going. Its yours.
