Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    hey everyone,

Was at a friends place today having a brew and roasting some fresh green beans.
After roasting for a bit went inside and he made some coffees. The coffee once he added the necessary hot milk looked grey, rather than latte brown (pardon the pun).
Why is this?? I notice hit shot run very very slow.
Was this due to over extraction???

    Thanks all!! ;)

Another option is skim milk--it often turns coffee grey.

popped into and had sneak peak in the fridge... may have found the problem they use "no fat" water... woops I mean milk.

We use low fat milk at home and never seen such "interesting coffee" before!!

absolutely glad were in brisbane... everyone needs their very own AM but unfortunately for everyone else we have him!!

I know he did the SB training, and that he loves a really slow shots- so that they just slowly drink/ run out. It does make a short shot very strong too.

AM whats a collar worth to replace??

AM whats a collar worth to replace?? *
    Err *Loaded Question *;)

    SB Agent or ME ?

A collar is about $60 Max if I recall correctly...

I think the agent here charges about $160 - $180 (guestimate only) to change and that includes the collar... *But will also take about 10 days..

I have been known to perform a collar change... *But it comes back to how desperate you might be *;D :D

Note: It is often a fact that a new seal is required and thats about another $23 as well...

I have a habit of slipping up and making other mods... Thus one needs to be aware FFInd would be at work... And it happens within MY time frame, not that of others ;D
