    Sunbeam EM6900

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
I have a Sunbeam EM6900 which I started to strip down as the steam pipe was blocked after flushing through with a cleaning agent. It is now in a myriad of pieces and I am looking to pass it on to someone who can use it for parts or rebuild it. I live in the ACT. Has anyone got any suggestions of how I should approach this exercise? Should I try and sell bits and pieces or the entire unit? What should I ask for price wise?

PM AM and see if he wants it for parts. He has rebuilt many of these for other members and your generous donation of your scrap may help him to continue his fine and philanthropic efforts! The environment also thanks you for keeping it out of landfill for as long as possible...

I have enough that I have rebuilt and still have 3 almost new EM6910s that I use as loaners for friends etc OR where some one might need a 3 group for a function :D ;D ;)

An EM6910 that has been stripped down is worth next to 0. But some parts may be worth it to some one.

Group handle and unpressurised baskets may be worth something on their own ???

The rest is all only suitable for a EM6900 and most have moved on.

If it was an EM6910 then the control board if working is worth keeping.

The rest is just bits for the rough parts bin.

Pay it Forward may find some one to take it off ya hands for postage ?

Best of luck to ya as some of teh stuff is handy but I have enough for teh moment.
