    new silvia owner PID upgrade

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Just got the Silvia last week, installed a PID on friday. Very happy with the results. Decided to try a different location for the PID to keep the front looking clean. SSR mounted inside, all wiring inside. Just hope water reservoir doesnt leak* :-X

Interesting, solves one issue, but potentially creates a new one whereby you have to look around the corner to change the setpoint temp....although I dont change the setpoint often on mine.
Probably looks neat from the front I suspect.

Thanks for Instruction Sheet, I have also attached my copy of E5CW Info

by the way i use inverted alarm output to control my steam temp, just wire it via the steam switch.
Inverted alarm will turn off when temp reaches set point + alarm temp.

I removed both relays in my omron and drive solid state relay via 2 diodes.
