Need help finding a VV non-pressurised portafilter

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Hi, noobie here on the forum and came here on the search for the best machine to upgrade from my Via Venezia (which I wasnt happy with)...but after doing a bit of research I see that I should probably try the non-pressurised portafilter route first...but Im having trouble finding the said portafilter in Melb. Any suggestions on where to look? I found one at Cafe Bianchi in Syd but they are charging $85.50 for the filter alone, plus $12.50 for the screen and then $17 postage!....
    Thanks in advance, Lohry..

    Hi Lohry,

I believe this is the one youre after? I have a spare with single/double basket, yours for $40 and can be collected in Melb.

Reply via PM if you like, just posted it here so I could attach the photo.

    Cheers,

    Rick

I havent kept up with recent VV models, but the previous ones were easily modifiable by just removing the plastic bits and spring in the PF.

A search here, I am sure, will show an instructional thread with pics.

A search on here or google, maybe even YouTube should yield simple instructions on doing this. Should cost you anything.
