Gaggia Baby Dose Problem - Steam Wand Comes Off

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hello,

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue. I have just bought a Gaggia Baby Dose and the steam wand comes off all the time now. Not the nozzle but the whole steam wand... There is a plastic nut that I can put back into place but after every use it comes off again.

I need to take it to an authorised repairer (in Brisbane there is now only 1 *I think because now the milk component is unusable.

    hi Euro33;

I had two already for the same problem, the problem is that this steam arm is hold by a clip or clip holder. You need to be very gently when you clean your nozzel.

If you go to Shriro Austrlia they are the importers of this machine they should tell you who is your closer agent.

    Good luck

    Hi Di Bartoli,

    Thanks for your reply.

Did you need to take it into a repairer to get this problem fixed?

Is easy to be fix, if you want to take it to the service centre due to is under warranty I thik you can do it.

if you want it to fix is easy you will need cross screw driver:

    • Take tank out
      • Take the two screws that are nex to the body of the machine
        • take the two crews that are next to the group head they are in font under
          • Take the steam knob out (carefully do not scrash the machine, take the screw under the knob.
            • Take the cover off, you will see the steam hose there, clip it on
              • Put the cover back, test the machine and the job is done.

                Good luck
