    Silvia price ?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
After my recent purchase of a Bezzera Galatea I am left with a surplus Silvia.
Its about 8 years old, and in good working order, am wondering what would be a fair price to ask for it?
Will try to sell it locally, dont really want to be fussed with the Ebay deal, having to pack and ship etc.
    Any thought re price?

    Cheers,

    Jon.

    Hi Jon,

You will find the answers at http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?board=Sale which is where you can post your item for sale as well. Be sure to meet the site sales and posting policy which is posted as a sticky item in that area or your post will disappear ;)

Thanks Chris, have checked the sale area and found no clue as to the value of an 8 year old Silvia.
As I said will be selling it locally so dont anticipate listing it in the sale area of this site at this stage.
Thought this would be a good area to pose the question. :)

Depending on the condition and what accessories come with it
    Ball park $350 to $450

    Re: Silvia price ?

I ended up selling mine of a similar age for a little higher, mainly because Id recently had the boiler and element replaced. Plus a few other bits and pieces (including a s/steel Rancilio base)

But for machine alone of that age, prob up to about $500 max Id say

If only my car could get such good comparative resale value :(
