Wondering if there are any snobs out there servicing their own La pav??

Time to get mine done, thought I would have a crack at doing it myself.

    Any advice???

Just in case you havnt found them yet

    http://www.pavoniexpress.com
    http://www.francescoceccarelli.eu/la...storia_eng.htm

are both excellent starting points :)

As to tips make sure you have the correct spanners (not adjustable shifters) and depending on model if you want to have a look under the bottom plate for any signs of rust etc. you need a set of Torx bits.

Last time I pulled my Millennium model down to clean the shower screen and piston only took about an hour, but is was only a clean not a seal replacement etc.

Only trap for the unwary is the spring clips that hold the handle to the piston, it is amazing how far this sort of clip can travel if you get it wrong ::)
