Oscar Vs Ponte Veccho Vs Bezzera BZ07
Hi guys - looking to buy an office machine and have (kind of) narrowed my options down to these 3
As i see it
Oscar - Cheapest, Ugliest, ? build quality,
Ponte Vecchio - Reasonably priced, ? build quality, Lever (not sure if this is a +'ve or -'ve for me)
Bezzera - Most expensive, Most attractive, Likely best resale, Excellent build quality.
Looks isn't critical as it is an office and not a home machine
Usage is likely to be just me, or me and one or two others
I have a Macap M4 so grinder is covered.
I have a bezzera magica at home so am familiar with HX machines - and am very happy with it.
I would appreciate thoughts/input
PV would seem a little "eccentric" for a multi user office machine..unless you are all lever enthusiasts ?

...its closer to the Oscar price , functionally the same as the BZ07 but with a better layout and dual pressure gauges.
Maybe even the cheaper BZ 99 with its volumetric shot selection. ?
I would throw in the Lelit PL60T dual boiler as another option.
Isn't that the BZ35?

I am not that keen on the lelit - would rather jump to the bezzera at that price point - as far as the lever is concerned - the machine is purchased for me - I may allow others to use it (if I like them and they respect my equipment :-P) but the priority is that it meets my needs. I like the lever concept Arabs the apparently forgiving nature of the ponte vecchio but was a touch concerned re build quality and longevity.
Not sure how the Arabs snuck into the post - should have been *and - stupid iPhone typing
