Best way to store an EM 6810 machine?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Does anyone have any advice on how to long term store an EM 6910, ie. how to drain out the most water, descale before, etc?

    ...in the bin? 🤔 j/k

I'd probably avoid descaling as you're more likely to dislodge scale that can cause problems; in situ it's stable and not going anywhere. Do run a chemical backflush clean though.

I just ran mine dry for transport - run group and steam pumps until the water stops. No idea whether that's actually the best idea, a call to the sunbeam 1800 number might yield results if it still exists....

That was pretty much what I have done only I descaled as well, not that there was any we have very soft water and I descale fairly regularly.
The machine is going to spend the next 24 hours near the heat pump to remove any moisture and I will then box it up to store for backup in case our new machine misbehaves.
    Cheers
