Ducale Florenzato or Wega Atlas 2 group machine

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi guys,

I am brand spanking new to owning my own machine and very eager to get going. I have spent a vast amount of time looking at different machines for sale and have found 2 that I am very keen on.

The first is a Wega Atlas 2 group with a Mazzer grinder, the second option is a Ducale Florenzato.

if anyone has any thoughts, feedback or advise, I would be really grateful.

    regards

I'm curious what got you to those two machines, is this for a commercial set up our at home? What country are you in?

We breed them big here in Queensland!

And if you don't have a V8 powered grinder - you don't have nothing!

Hi Gareth, one thought which might be the reason for the reaction, is that using a two group at home means you are heating up two group heads and associated water requirements each time you use it. With the heat up time being 30 to 45 minutes, it may be more power efficient to heat a single group machine for that time and just make the required coffees after each other, especially if just two at a time.

You have 15a supply? Might have to unplug the oven. I had a laugh

    Or install 3-phase...
