HOW TO CLEAN A DISMANTLED BOILER??

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hello everyone.

I was just wanting some advice from those who are in the know, of how to clean an already dismantled 300 ml boiler?
What cleaning agents are safe to use and what to avoid?

Also, what kind of silikon should I be using on the seals at the time of putting it back together?

    Thank you for your inputs.

    regards : Spressoman

    Hi Spressoman,

Bombora supplies has just released some terrific triple action descaler. This is a commercial quality product and works brilliantly... I have stock.

    Thanks for your reply guys.

Since my quaha boiler is in 2 pieces I was thinking of scrubbing the inside maybe with some steel wool??!!
Is that a reasonable thing to do or a big no-no-no.
Also, Iam planning to replace all seals but I thought that putting a smear of silikon on them would help to seal things better?

I had to put a new heater element into my Solis boiler recently (only the top of the boiler is replaced). *When I opened it up, the boiler was scaly so I just filled up the bottom half of the boiler with Sunbeam descaler (suitable diluted) I bought from the local dept. store.

I left it a day then poured it out. *Spotless!

I didnt apply any silicone to the new O-rings. *They dont leak
