    HI,
I have just recently purchased a Rancilio Silvia machine and was wondering where i can get my hands on a portafilter with a single spout? I am an espresso lover and my espresso cups dont fit under the double spout that comes with the machine, wasting half of the precious coffee. Any help is much appreciated.
    Cheers

Have you considered just changing the portafilter spout from a double to a single. This option could cost you as little as $8 and probably no more than $15. I did that with mine, and was even lucky enough to get the spout for free from my local coffee supplier who had heaps of spares.

An option here Scott is pour yourself two ristrettos & simply combine the two. IMHO, I reckon you get a better quality flavour from a 40ml double ristretto than a 30ml espresso anyway, as you avoid too much blonding in the cup at the end of the shot.

    cheers,

Dont want to do coffee parts out of a sale but you could just unscrew the double spout off your pf.
