    Non-pressurised baskets for Breville BES820

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hey guys,

I have a Breville BES820 machine, and Ive got the Krups non-pressurised filter basket, as well as the Breville "Bar Italia" non-pressurised filter basket.
I am wandering if anyone knows if the krups or the breville is better? I am looking at getting a pullman tamper, and the two filter baskets are different sizes, so I wont be able to use both....so is one better than the other?

The breville looks to have smaller holes and fits into the PF handle better, thats all I can see.

    Any help is much appreciated!!

    Cheers,
    Ben.

    Hi Andrew,

I havnt used the breville yet, but I am getting a little bit of grind into my cup at the end so I think the smaller holes in the breville might be better for me.

I am having a few problems with my pour - different times and "weak" taste. Im putting a lot of my problems down to my 51mm generic tamper.

I thought maybe someone knew of a difference between the filters other than the ones I could see.

    Cheers!
    Ben.
