    After-Sales Service Experience....

    Hey all,

    The questions regarding which machine is the best and from where to buy from are continuously asked in this forum, with varying responses too!

    One of those responses is to ensure that you buy from a reputable dealer that will assist you should things go wrong down the track.

    A question raised from that particular response is - Why should I spend $100 more when I can get the same machine online for less???

    I must admit, I asked myself a similar question in the beginning, but nearly 12 months later, I have an entirely different outlook that I wish to share.

    Since deciding to upgrade around this time last year, I spent many an hour researching and shopping online to get the best price I could for my selected machines. I had varying responses from retailers ranging from no response at all to 2 page e-mails!

    In the end, the retailer who spent the most time with me got the sale. Despite the fact that the machine was located in a different state, I chose to give my hard earned dollars to the outlet that I could be sure would look after me down the track.

    Well, nearly 12 months on, my Diadema had a minor electrical issue last week that caused me to contact the retailer and request assistance. Long Story short - the retailer provided the best, timely level of after-sales service that I have received in a long time. My issue has now been addressed and I am happily consuming my daily brew ;D

    For those interested, CosmoreX coffee are the retailer in question and Fresh Coffee being the man.

    Thank you again from your prompt and excellent level of service FC, I hope that this post plants the seed of thought into those considering buying their machine soley on price! 8-)

    Just another example of the you gets what you pays for lesson. Sometimes it seems that way too many of the what should I buy questions are clouded by how cheaply can I buy it threads- on CG and sometimes here. Buyers get angry when service evaporates when an issue arises. Remember the lesson of caveat emptor *;). Attilio is a sponsor or the utmost integrity and it is of no surprise whatsoever that you received the service that you did, James.

    Now you can enjoy the machine even more! *8-)

    We are a lucky lot in CS to have GREAT sponsors and if it cost you a couple of percent more to get a REAL warranty then that was cheap (in hindsight).

    We are a community. A common interest brought us all together. Whether it is the home user, trained barista, or professional roaster/equipment dealer, we all have coffee in our blood. Some more than others (way more), but its our love of coffee that binds us.

    Well I would like to give Barazi (in Brisbane) a plug as well.

    They have just about every part available for Bezzera machines and some others off the shelf from tiny filters to complete group heads etc :o

    During the rebuild of my est 10yr old Bezzera a number of parts where required.
    Brass/copper fittings, vibe pump, gaskets, solenoid coil, check valve etc

    Pretty much walked in and walked out with the parts I was after at a good price.

    Jack the Tech there does a great job and is very helpful.

    If I ever get around to purchasing a new machine (probably not I enjoy rebuilding to much) Id most likely purchase a Bezzera from them as the support and availability of parts has been incredible.

    As many have said time and time again, support/service is very important.

    Any one else with good or Bad support stories?

    Particularly interested in LM, Conti and other main stream machine support in Aust just as a matter of interest.
