    First post (!)

A friend of mine has a metal lathe with plenny of experience in using it...
I am looking at fashioning my own tamper for my EM6910.

Any tips in terms of S/S grade and end finishing for the perfect cake polishing effect.

    Ta!

This one is a once (or twice for a mates gift) off that will give me a little experience in the ways of the lathe! Greg has nothing to fear. I will post pictures and let you know how things go!

Best of luck with your project topend. Im thinking of getting my father in law to make me one, he has all the gear and a supply of 316 stainless sitting waiting for me to give him the specs. All I need is a machine to make it for!
