    Shipping by air fully automted coffee maker

    Friendly advice: if you intend to airfreight your fully automatic coffee maker, make sure you have DRAINED all tubes. I lost the circuit board on a Gaggia, when an interna tube burst, as the water in it froze in the cargo area.

    Ive seen posts on overseas forums of boiler and tube damage due to water freezing when machines have been stored in unheated sheds and the like, I didnt realise the same could happen in a aircraft hold.

    Aircraft holds are unpressurised, at 30,000 ft the temperature can be as low as -50 C, pretty chilly. :)
