Melbourne source for compression fittings/teflon tubing?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi all,

Long time lurker finally picked up a machine from another member (Imat Junior); at last I no longer need to scour the for sale forum every day!

In the spirit of inquiry, I decided to tear it to pieces - all fine except Id never seen a compression fitting before and my curiosity got the better of me. Side cutters Vs pump-to-boiler plumbing - no competition! Now Id like to replace the mangled tubing and olive (the elbow joint survived).

Tomorrow I will try Lygon Imports in Fairfield and Grinders on Lygon St; can anyone suggest any other suppliers in case Im out of luck? Id prefer to go somewhere in person, if at all possible.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mr Box

Coffeeparts should be able to supply tubing (and probably fittings). Enzed or Pirtek will be able to get you the fittings if you cant find them elsewhere and they have stores peppered around the city. You could also look at Reece plumbing - pick one that does HVAC not just basic plumbing.

Pneumatics industry generally or even a good quality industrial supplier or bearing shop would be the best places to go.

Thanks guys, ended up going to Reece Plumbing as theres one that does HVAC just up the road from where I live. The machine is back together and working now (after a few blow outs from not tightening the compression fittings up enough - lesson learned!)
