    Too much water backflushing?

    hello fellow csers,
there cant be too many threads about backflushing right?

how much clean water backflushing is too much?
5 times? 10 times? 15 times? XX times?

Do you backflush after every coffeemaking session? At the end of the day? Depending on the frequency?

I usually make my coffee, purge the grouphead, do the portafilter jiggle, brush the rubber gasket, and water backflush lots and lots of times, sometimes until I have to refill the water tank.

Is it normal to still get one or two coffee ground particles even after 10 backflushes?

Am i just being too anal about the cleanliness of my coffee machine? (or is this a normal thing for new owners?)

Much thanks for bearing with me and reading this post

    :D

    Overkill IMHO Leo,

A rinse between shots and a water backflush daiy is more than adequate.
