Nah, its more along the lines of Volvo drivers being a unique breed who tend to be fairly conservative and seem not to notice anything else around them while they plod along their own path. ;D

After sleeping on it I have decided that

Oh everyone knows that the Volvo of coffee machines is a Saeco Magic
is a bit unfair and gives Volvo owners a bad name ;D

I suspect a better comparison would be Volvo = Rancilio. For those that like quality coffee but are not worried about how fast they get it. ie you just try making 6 or more Latté on a Silvia ;)

So what coffee machine do you have and what brand car do you drive?

    Ill kick it off:

We have a Rancilio Silvia and at the time we brought her a Volvo 740 Turbo (read that as push power b4 we traded it) now a Toyota Corolla.

    Cheers

Silvia and Cimbali Junior get me going in the morning till my Volvo 850 t5 (high pressure turbo) finishes the job.

Was lots of fun for the first few months until my previously unblemished licence was one ticket away from disappearing.

At least unlike wrxs it certainly wasnt a cop magnet, I recall a police bike racing past me to pull over a wrx I was rapidly gaining on. On two other occasions I was cautioned instead of ticketed.

Oh yeah, my other ride is a 78 swb diesel landcruiser, fondly remembered by a previous owner as the "anti-christ of comfort" but truly unbreakable.

    Hi All,

As with mauricem, I dont have a car either but am a biker from way back (40+ years). Wifey has a Mazda 121 Metro and I have two bikes, one a 1975 Ducati 900SS for fun and the other, a Yamaha 1100 Tourer for the longer rides (still fun).

Coffee comes courtesy of my ever faithful Mokita and Rocky D/L. Dont get on the bikes much anymore, a series of strokes pretty much saw to that but sure do get as much great coffee as I want. The funny thing though, is my wife likes the bikes but doesnt like the coffee, prefers instant. Cant quite figure that one out but there you go.

    Cheerio,
    Dimal.
