There is one on ebay atm(might be more I didnt check), only an hour left on it,..but I have seen them come up before.

Have you checked with the CS sponsors listed left? It might be better (and safer, customer support and all that) in the long run to get one through them.

It is a Bellman machine, you can get it in a "Makes coffee as well" configuration, I have one for camping, works fine.

See http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1136784074/30 for discussion of how well it works.

I wouldnt bother with a steam only one, nmight as well go the whole hog.

There are always some of these Bellmans on Evil Bay, *Standard model for $79 and pressure guage model for $129 plus delivery. *I know cause I have been looking at them on ebay for several weeks. *i am also having trouble locating a retailer in Melbourne that sells them as I would prefer to purchase personally from a store.

This is sort of off topic, it about the coffee produced not the steaming ability (which I have read is fairly good)

I have decided to move from Aluminium to a SS Moka and these caught my eyes, mainly due to the steaming ability that would be useful while travelling/camping although not essential. * I was just wondering if anyhone knows how the quality of the coffee the bellmans produces compared to good SS moka pot. * *I am tossing up between a Bialetti SS or one of these Bellmans.

sorry im no expert, but going on what ive read, the Bialetti SS doesnt froth too well, if thats the one that they paint like a cow pattern black and white, optional or chrome.
i just read a thread somewhere about how bad it was at it.
hopefully someone else here whos a pro can give more advice than that. :)

This info may be a little late, but I have just ordered a Bellman from Jack at Sorrentina coffee in south oz, who is a cs sponsor. The word is that they have loads of steam, and if you are good enough you can get some creama from it. I want it for travelling cos its light and compact. If you are still interested I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks, *If I decide on one of these I will get it from the Site sponsor. *I havnt yet replaced my Moka pot yet, using the Sunbeam Ristretto atm and only making Milk Drinks. **There is too many options, *and every time I read up some more there are even more options. *Currently im deciding between SS Moka, Bialetti Brikka, *the Bellmans and after the last week have added Aero Press and Vacuum Pot to the list. *If only I had the money to buy them all.

Damn you CS forums :) *The cause of, and solution to, all my coffee problems
