    what for a coffee station/table/bench?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi all,

I have limited space on my kitchen bench to put a grinder + machine so Im considering buying a small kitchen island to fit my coffee gear.

Do you guys have any idea where I could find a good one? like a butchers bench or something similar? What do you use?

    Thanks ;)

Aldi had a butchers bench recently (or is about to sell one, cant remember exactly).

You could also try site sponsor OMaras.
Youve missed todays auction but they almost always have stainless steel trolleys.

I have a trolley I use for my roasting that I got from Bunnings.

Ikea have a few options - both wooden and SS trolleys:

A few under $100, as well.

I went back to the people who originally made my kitchen. for a 1.1m wide bench on the other side of my pantry, its costing me ~$700. Will add a lot of value to the house as it can be used as a servery for someone less coffee obsessed.

Not sure if this is the right place for this...but updated pics of what I got for $770 installed. This was an empty space between a cupboard and a door. I havent tiled the walls yet, but here is my new coffee station:

This looks great!! If I had some kind of residence permanency (and the spare cash), I would definitely get something like that made :)
    Very impressed!

Re: what for a coffee station/table/bench?

Finally tracked down a trolley for my gear, this may/not be the one TG refers to.
This one was a good price $99, easy to assemble - all pieces marked, all screws bagged and labelled, solid and with a heavy granite top.
Reckon i might go pick up another one for my roasting station...

Looks good, I got a $90 Ikea one and stained it then put a glass top on it. The glass top makes clean up so much easier 8-)

Resurrecting an old thread here. Here are some pretty cool integrated coffee stations Coffee Station Home Design, Decorating, and Renovation Ideas on Houzz Australia

Me personally I just claimed half the kitchen bench and cupboards above (see pics) and although it has taken up half of the cooking bench space the wife and I just tend to eat out more often now then come home for our coffee fix (the machine is turned on via a wifi smart switch remotely through my iPhone so its warm when we get home)
