Home brew espresso machine.
This pic was proudly posted by a member of another forum I belong to, says its ""hot rodded" and "miniaturised " Boema commercial espresso machine I am building"
Looks pretty rustic to me! would others care to comment.
I like this aesthetic, it could do with some refinement but it's a work in progress I assume.
I'm planning on a similar build combining the chassis of an old Grimac commercial machine with the insides of a 2 group Wega Atlas. Going for exposed E61 groups and exposed internals with big levers and plenty of valves and gauges.
I also want to add a steam whistle which would be neat.
Don't know about hotrodded, looks more ratrodded to me.
Each man to his own I guess but not something I'd like nor be allowed to have in the kitchen
I was going to ask "is it steam powered" but that would be pretty dumb I guess!

Reason: add link
looks like an espresso machine straight out of mad max.
Horses for courses Yelta, can't see it on granite or marble designer benchtop, but for say an open corrugated iron shed, where a new Rocket or Profitec screams 'steal me', this might be perfect. Very low chance of it being stolen. Would happily have it in my shed.
I see it has a rotary pump. All the goodies are inside
