Novice questions（cold coffee filter screen）
Is it plastic or stainless?
I found that there are two kinds of stainless steel.
One looks very thin and the price should be cheaper. Is that ok?
Why is nobody answering my question?
I found a cold brew coffee filter on the Internet that looks thick and should not be easily deformed. How about this?
hi snow 2020,welcome to the thread; I cannot help you with your question, sorry. Cold brew is not my thing, I will leave that to those who know what they are talking about. however i will say this, any system that leaves coffee grounds soaking (stewing) in water is not very popular and it maybe no one has experience with this particular type of filter. Sorry I cannot help you any further. there are however plenty of articles on cold brewing, use the search engine on top of the page. Chippy
Looks similar to the Hario Mizudashi that I use (the one I have had a plastic filter, but there is one available with stainless steel filter). Provided you keep it clean by soaking in water with something like Cafetto Espresso Clean powder occasionally it should be fine. I would suggest trialling different amounts of time, the website you linked said 24hrs, I do mine for 8hrs.
