I read about the 2-arm (chisel), 3-arm, and 4-arm distribution tools, including the claims by Ona, before settling on a chisel tool. It simply makes more sense mechanically in terms of distribution rather than unwanted tamping. The options I found were not in your price range. I have been very happy with the Pullman though.
should I pick up a cheap distribution tool off fleabay or spend a bit more on a decent one? Or just not worry with getting one at all? just wanting to cut some time down when doing this step and trying to weigh up if it's worth the $20-100 purchase
