Heres another reason I am so glad I bought my Giotto from John Doyle.
Late last week Giotto started playing up. He wouldnt pump water reliably. I did the usual, re-seat the water tank, but after making another cup things stopped again. Oh well, a bit of manual clean up instead of blind filter backflushing is not a big deal, and off to work I go.... Friday night I emailed John to see what he thought might be wrong - a couple of phone calls on the weekend, and a few tweaks with the pliers on the nut on the base of the unit, and Giotto is working hard and strong as he was the week before :) There was even a "plan B" where Charles (NSW distributor) was ready to send a tech on-site, but it didnt come to that. And all on the weekend. Try to get that level of service out of the rep on the floor at DJs.
