ISOMAC MONDIALE Solid Steel Portafilter handles

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Anyone ordered/received solid steel portafilter handles for there Mondiale units?

Apparently shipped w/ initial batch to AUS - now only available on special order!

Worth the effort in ordering/or go with the default portafilter handles currently shipped with the unit?

Would love to hear from any ISOMAC USERS/MONDIALE owners!

    Thanks ;D

on that note.... a bit OT, but I had a play on a mates Mondiale and thought the Stainless steel pf handle was pretty cool - but it was just the opposite - It was really hot. As well as the steam levers and brew lever - It looked awesome, and I still kinda wish my Minore had them, but as far as practicality goes, Im not too sure.
Definitely one of the more sexy lookin prosumers out there IMO.

    Yeeza,

Lovely old school machine you have - Ive heard the PF handles do get very hot, if left locked in for 10mins or more...

At $150 each, Ill consider this one -

Ours came with non-steel handles. Perfectly happy with them.

Ive never had a problem with the levers getting hot, even when
the machine is on all day (which isnt often). We really like the
steam lever -- very quick on/off action.

Mine came with the black handles, but having enquired about them when I bought it through Coffee Works they had told me that the stainless steel handles were available at $145 a pop.

Havent looked back since, love the feel and look of the stainless steel handle cant imagine going back.
