Before giving up on us mate, how about waiting until the weekend is over :-?..... lots of CSers do other things as well as drink great coffee. Strange, but true..... ;)

If I type "Versacrem" into Google I only get two hits.
One for a piece of software and the other one is your post.

I wouldnt hold your breath on a flood of familiar users, but for starters perhaps post a photo of the machine you mean. That will at least give us a few clues about what its all about, and it may be it has certain design aspects which some of us may be familiar (e.g. if it has a E61 group then we can tell you what to do with that irrespective of the machine its attached to)

Tip #1: Get the spelling right ;) Versacrem isnt Visacrem, as the latter has heaps of Google hits. Still not a mainstream machine but a lot more info to start with.

Looks a pretty standard HX machine so all the normal HX tips apply, pressure settings, cooling flushes and maintenance. Was there something specific you were after?

The opening post requested info on a Versacrem machine. Once the pictures came up I saw Visacrem on the machine which was the basis of my post :-? Did I miss something?

    Behmor Brazen - $249 - Free Freight
    Whats in a name eh?

I have done some research and it is made by Gaggia in Spain, aboput 14 yrs old.

Pulled some shots today, I have found I have to use a slightly coarser grind than I did on the Oscar. the shots dont pour anywhere near as fast either. This is my first time owning such a beast.

It has a 6 ltr boiler.

A secondry issue is that the Hot water tap is just throwing out steam at the moment. Was wondering what may cause this?

But for $555 plus exteral pump and complete service not so long ago, cant complain.

But hey, you know still getting used to this whole Antipodean thing....
