Ok the office needs...read I need a new coffee machine in the office,
separate grinder and tamping not an option.....yea I know!
The milk.......well i have won on this and it can be manual.....
price not really an issue, 10 staff plus guests, any and all ideas would be appreciated, currently we are looking at a saeco talea
Thanks in advance,
We run a DURA Impressa machine at work and go through about on average 2.5-3KG per week. Unit can make good espresso shot providing you learn to take the time to adjust the grinders, shot water length and the like.
The standard settings used by the machine technicians just makes weak dishwater.
Unit has two grinders and two different coffees used, one a blend and other a decaf.
Not sure how good the steam function is as i only drink black coffee but a few staff manually steam milk as well as us having a paired fridge and connection to the machine.
The machine does take a bit of maintenance and descaling etc but we use general tap water and filtered water considered a waste of time by management (some of who prefer instant).
Overall a reasonable machine for what it is, no patch on my Giotto at home though, so i cant wait each night to get home and have a real coffee!!!
Hope this helps.
