    Krups Krap

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
i am having troubles with my Krups machine pictured... it comes with a pod attachment but when i use a pod in it, it blows the seal out and sprays everywere. (the seal looks ok condition)

Does anyone else have this problem?
Also the "easy frother" attachment is as good as a straw. ATM i am just using it without it but am after a more perminant solution.

    cheers Azza

    Hi Azza,

It sounds like somethings not right in your setup for sure, maybe the wrong attachment, wrong basket or the wrong type of pods; but I doubt youll get a lot of feedback on pod attachments because pods are basically an tidy, expensive way to get stale coffee. I wont go into all the problems with pods over freshly ground coffee as there are other threads which deal with that, but suffice to say if you ditch the pod attachment and get yourself a decent grinder instead youll get far better results than you are at the moment, yes even with a Krups.

The tagline under your avatar reads Lifes to (sic) short to drink bad coffee - I agree; the above will be your second step away from bad coffee and into the realms of whats really achievable.

    Behmor Brazen - $249 - Free Freight
thanks for the reply Greg, the pods were realy only an experiment to see if i could make coffee quite in the morning as to not wake people. experiment that went badly wrong. Also i will add that i got the pods for like 3 bucks on clearance from the supermarket so thought they were worth trying out the attachment for.

i have a grinder and all kinds and blends of beans. although i am not into the home roasting yet i would like to soon as i have time and money for the set up!..
