Well, in my situation after buying three Tampers from Greg over time, each took between a week and ten days from order to receipt. When you consider that these are Custom Made jobs, thats a pretty good turn-around in my book 8-),

We normally dispatch standard orders within a week of payment (often a lot less) however if engraving is requested that takes a week (as the engraver fits our jobs in amongst his other, much larger, jobs....) before we can start to assemble, pack and ship the order.

However if you have ordered a 316 Stainless steel base.... that causes a considerable delay as we dont carry that stock..... it was added to our range as a special request.... and, although far more expensive, has proven to be very popular (and the demand caught us by surprise :-[). Stock had to be obtained and turned to order.... altogether a far more time consuming process.....

We will be adding 316 bases to our stock as a standard item so in future we wont be caught out again....

And just quietly, work on the new tamper has taken a bit of time... ;) ;) (and no, Im not going to say why!!)

The question is not why but WHEN?
When are we likely to see the new tamper?

    Gavin,

Thats really up to Greg to decide.....

But I can say that Greg and I were discussing release dates today.....

So it wont be too much longer. If we had our way it would have been released long ago..... but problems with suppliers have caused lots of delay (and headaches for Greg).....

So just be patient for a little longer - it WILL be worth it I can promise you that!!!!

    ahxiongko,

No single answer unfortunately. For example, purchaser A may send a cheque (4 days in the mail) which then takes another 5 days to clear. Their order may include custom engraving which we allow a week for, and they may have (sensibly) requested delivery by registered mail rather than express. This order may take nearly a month from when it was submitted to arrive. On the other hand, purchaser B may pay by PayPal (instant clearance of funds), request filter baskets with their order which often allows us to match a tamper on the spot and express post - in the best case scenario this could be dispatched the same day and reach the purchaser within 24 hours of ordering.

Because of the myriad of variables, we say on our website to allow about 10 working days from when payment clears. In most cases its less than this, but allow for this and we can often give a better idea when we know the details of your order.

Re the new one, Im just taking a few photos now... and I dont tend to take photos just for fun.

    Greg
