    Cleaning Options other than chemical?

    Hi All,

Just curious if anyone has any other more natural options for cleaning/backflushing their machines, rather than using the chemical solutions on the market? :-/

    Cheers,

    Use micro fibre cloths
The finer cloths for glass and shiny stainless steel
The coarse cloths use for the rest including group head and screen after pulling a shot

    Sorry KK,

I was trying to find out other options for my (once a week) backflushing with a chemical powder. Any thoughts?

    Cheers,

Ive heard some real horror stories about what goes into some of the available cleaning products.

On the other hand, Ive only heard good things about cafetto, particularly their evo range.

Cloths are fine, but wont get into the actual screen holes, opv, etc. and you cant backflush with them.

    Use the cafetto!

I use an ultra sonic cleaner for the group head and screens.

Look no further than the list of sponsors on the left. I bought a cleaning kit from Coffee Parts (by mail order) but other sponsors sell Cafetto or similar cleaning products.

    Coffee parts sell Cafetto aswell.

Its where I bought mine. Good value too, it is going to take me forever to get through the containers worth.
