From QUAHA NAPOLITANA to ? Isomac Tea or Expobar Leva

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
I love my Napolitana. I love its stainless and brass and the built -in Lux grinder. I love Alan Frew who sold it to me. But the time has come for an upgrade to a heat exchanger and a maybe a Rocky grinder.
Any advice from the wise? Much appreciated. 8-) 8-)

    Alrighty...

    2.2k would get you:[*]Almost to Diadema Junior Semi-auto[*]Bezzera BZ07P[*]Expobar eb-61 leva[*]Isomac tea

I personally love the build quality of the Bezzera and Diadema.

The Expobar offers great bang for buck- but they are scarce at present...For mine- either eb-61 leva or BZ07 and a Compak K3T if you have space. If you can stretch a smidge, the Junior semi auto is terrific as well....

    A start for some research.....

Ill add my vote to Chris for those as possible contenders... 8-)

Its really important too that you try to get out and have a look, feel and hands-on play with the machines on your eventual short-list. The only way to know which machine is, ultimately, right for you... ;)

    Welcome to CoffeeSnobs Louis..... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

    Louis,

just gone through exactly where you are at, and the number of options are huge, but is suspect that to be helpful, people need to know how much budget is a consideration, is aesthetics important, how many drinks per day, , what do you least like about the mokita, what do you like the most, are all drinks milk? etc.

An individual choices can all be different based on what they require.

Thanks all. Have been doing intensive research and visiting of sponsers premises.
The Tea feels right; the shots were impressive, and, as importantly for someone who is somewhat micro-foam challenged, the wand ha 2 holes and a lot of dry steam.
The Compak K3 Touch seems the business and is approx the right pice - its a tall bugger, though.
So Ill ponder for a while, try and do a good combo deal, get a new tamper and a smaller jug.
Then I guess my Napolitana will be on the market to a good home.
