Unico splendor. Old model vs maxi. What are the differences?

    Hi,

Ive been offered a good price on the superceded non-maxi model. Apart from missing out on the ball jointed wands, are there any other differences?

Any recommendations as for other machines I should look at, in a similar price range.

    thanks.

Nowhere near as nice as the Maxi and also, be mindful that the Splendor is no longer imported. Parts such as replacement panels etc will become much harder to obtain... Poorer steam performance due to diferences in valve anatomy. Also, Id guarantee no bench test nor calibration. It will most likely be running 11-12 bar and who knows what group temp. ;)

Talk Coffee and CosmoreX both have Diadema on special. Cuppacoffee and Jetblack also supply Diadema.

As for other possibilities, wed need an idea of your budget....
