    Re: Repair for Expobar Minore

Is it the red rocker switch or the newer metal toggle switch?
I assume since you say Brewtus it is the red rocker switch.

I would suggest trying Dick Smith in Wangaratta for a replacement and just doing it yourself (or get a sparky to do it if you are not confident). Ive seen several types of the rocker switch that are a proper fit in a local DSE here. In both red and green.

My switch perished on the Expobar some time ago and I found a replacement switch at a Hi-Fi supply store. I just took the old one out (what was left) and took it with me looking. I also took pictures of the orientation and connections before I took it out of the machine.

    Theyre about $5 from memory.

    Hope that helps.

    Brett.

    All good solutions fb,

Expobar can supply an oem replacement (do a search for Expobar Australia).

Best solution I have seen so far is a Tassie CSer who replaced his with a LaPavoni on/off switch. Its a similar design to the switch on the mazzer mini-manual and looks schmicko when installed.

Wodonga (Victoria) is close to Albury, why you do not contact the guys of Albury Catering. They may be able to help you with this. *They sell and repair Boema Coffee Machines

I concur with fatboy, its a $5 part (if its the red rocker switch).

and echoing the caveats on working with electricity above...

I recently swapped the illuminated green on/off pushbutton switch for my bezzera after it snapped, whoops.

if DS doesnt have it : Search for Red Rocker Switch on rs components (electronics online) website.

Check the Amps rating, website has electrical and equipment diagrams.

Thats where I got mine from when it perished.

I thought about DSE etc but decided on the genuine part.
